Criminal Defense Attorney on the NBA Draft & Knowing When to Say When

Today is the NBA draft.  A joyous but conversely nerve-wracking time of year when fans of professional basketball across the world pray their team will draft the next great NBA legend / HOFer capable of a leading a team out of the lottery and deep into the playoffs ultimately culminating into an NBA title (or two or more).  Ostensibly, the missing piece to a championship caliber team.  The other side of the coin, is the prayer your team did not just draft the next Greg Oden, Thomas Robinson, Marvin Williams to name a few.  In any event. the joy and the nervous wait will lead some to imbibe a few through out the course of a whirlwind evening.  Be it at a local watering hole.  A chain sports bar.  Or someone else’s home.  Be smart.  Drink responsibly.  And know when to say when.  Don’t be a DUI/DWI, Drunk Driving statistic.  Don’t get so frustrated your team drafted a sure fire buster Center and take or even attempt to take it out on the person next to you leading to a misdemeanor Assault / Disorderly Conduct arrest or worse.  Don’t turn one of the greatest days in all of sports into a day you’ll never forget and truly regret.  I merely provide the information below just in case you need it I but hope it won’t be necessary.  Happy drafting.
